Eggs Up Grill Named a 2026 Top Franchise by Franchise Business Review
Eggs Up Grill, a neighborhood favorite daytime café and the fastest-growing “better breakfast” restaurant franchise in the country, has received recognition as a 2026 Top Franchise by Franchise Business Review, determined by feedback from franchise owners.
CEO Ricky Richardson commented that the honor “reflects the voices of our franchise partners” and emphasized that “being named a Top Franchise reinforces our commitment to a people-first culture and a business model built on strong unit economics.”
The recognition involved evaluation of over 330 franchise brands representing approximately 26,000 franchise owners. Franchisees assessed their experiences across 33 performance indicators, encompassing areas such as training, operational support, leadership quality, organizational culture, and financial performance metrics.
Franchise Business Review’s methodology differs from typical industry awards. According to Michelle Rowan, the organization’s president, rankings depend “solely on franchisee satisfaction and system performance” rather than brand recognition or application volumes. The firm has conducted this independent research for over two decades, utilizing standardized evaluation criteria.
Rowan noted that “this year’s Top Franchise winners significantly outperformed industry averages” in critical categories including leadership, support structures, innovation capacity, workplace culture, and financial prospects.
