Mr. Bagwell joined WJ Partners in 2018. He manages the firm’s execution activities for new investments as well as portfolio support activities for the firm’s companies.

Prior to joining WJ Partners, Mr. Bagwell spent four years at Deloitte in its M&A Advisory practice. At Deloitte, he helped middle- market private equity firms execute leveraged buyout transactions. Prior to Deloitte, Mr. Bagwell completed a one-year fellowship at the Financial Standards Accounting Board, where he conducted investor outreach and research on the new global accounting standards on revenue recognition.

Mr. Bagwell graduated with high honors from Brigham Young University with a BS and MA in Accounting and earned his MBA from Chicago Booth as a Wallman Scholar. He is also an active member of the Spartanburg community serving in various leadership roles at his church and on the Board of Directors for Habitat of Humanity of Spartanburg.
